Since I am all-knowing I know exactly what the humans are doing and I understand exactly why they commit each sin. Since I created the humans in my own image and personally programmed human nature into their brains, I am the direct author of all of this sin. The instant I created them I knew exactly what would happen with every single human being right down to the nanosecond level for all eternity. If I didn’t like how it was going to turn out, I could have simply changed them when I created them. And since I am perfect, I know exactly what I am doing. But ignore all that. I hate all these people doing exactly what I perfectly designed them to do and knew they would do from the moment I created them. I HATE IT! I tried killing all the humans and animals once in the flood. That certainly did not fix the problem.So here’s what I am going to do. I will artificially inseminate a virgin. She will give birth to an incarnated version of me. The humans will eventually crucify and kill the incarnated me. That, finally, will make me happy. Yes, sending myself down and having the humans crucify me — that will satisfy me. I feel much better now.
Faith doesn’t answer questions, it stops you from asking them.
Lets say that I an atheist flipped a coin 50 times. You would expect the outcome to be approximately 25 heads and 25 tails respectively. Now if you took a Christian and told him to flip a coin 50 times, but every time had him pray for heads with all their will, you would notice that the outcome is about the same.
A lot of religious people might come up with hundreds of excuses why God didn’t answer the prayer. The reason why there are so many excuses is because, God never answers prayers. The most obvious would be “This prayer is not important enough”, however, at no point in the bible does it state that a prayer must be important. The bible states that God will listen to and answer EVERY prayer that people make. Now if you find the idea of praying for coin tosses to be ridiculous and an insult to religion, try saying this prayer:
Dear Jesus and your most heavenly father, our savior and our lord, The one who died for our sins and the all-powerful creator, I pray to you with all my heart, spirit, and soul to rid the world of pain. Please our most precious, loving father, take away the disease, the suffering, the war, the famine, and the pain of all people. I ask this selfless prayer to help the world. Please use your power and do as you proclaimed in the bible to help all the people in the world. In Jesus name, Amen.
Now after saying this prayer, will every sick person in the world be better? Will poverty, famine, war, hatred, pain, and suffering go away even though this is one of the most heartfelt prayers ever? No they will not end. It is simple as that. Although you may be able to come up with dozens of explanations and excuses for why your prayer wasn’t answered, it doesn’t change the fact that prayer does absolutely nothing. Why you may ask.
Because God isn’t real. There is no supernatural god(s) or spirits controlling what happens. We are in control of our own destiny as humans.
